Community groups, volunteer organisations and charities in East Hampshire can apply for up to £10,000 for projects dedicated to tackling climate change
A funding pot of £50,000 is available through our Community Climate Action Fund, demonstrating our commitment to deliver carbon reductions across the district.
Our first round of grants provided more than £125,000 to 13 projects around the district, ranging from support for the Alton Eco Fair to helping provide solar panels at Treloar’s school to make buildings more efficient.
Round two of funding is now open for applications and will close at noon on Monday 30 October 2023
Do you know an organisation in your ward that could benefit from this?

The councillor allowance scheme is currently under review by an Independent Remuneration Panel.
Councillors are paid an allowance in accordance with the duties and responsibilities they perform.
The panel recently surveyed all councillors and is in the process of reviewing those results and interviewing councillors in a variety of roles to assess their workloads.
It will make recommendations to the council for consideration and a decision will be made towards the end of the year.
The current scheme can be found in the council’s constitution and there is also a link from the Councillor Hub.
