Please see below a general update on bin collections (waste, recycling, garden waste and glass) for the whole of East Hampshire.

Norse South East (NSE) crews will return to collecting bins at the normal time from next Monday (1 August).
Please make sure your bin is out by 7am on your scheduled collection day to ensure it’s not missed.
Please share this message with your friends and neighbours in the district so they are kept up to date.
NSE is still facing a shortage of drivers in the district (which links to the ongoing national shortage of HGV drivers).
As a result, our kerbside glass collection service is disrupted.
If your glass box is not collected on your regular day, you can take your glass to one of the bottle banks in the district or put any excess out in a suitable container for your next collection.
NSE is continuing the roll-out of new 10,700 litre glass banks at sites around the district.
These bins have much larger capacity than our old banks and sensors that will automatically alert NSE when the bins are full.
Find out more about the locations of these banks on our website.
Regular collection of waste and recycling from people’s homes is the priority for NSE.
These collections are broadly running to schedule. If the bins in your road are not collected by the end of your scheduled day, NSE will return the next day to complete their round.
If your neighbours’ bins have been collected, but yours hasn’t, please report it as missed through your MyEHDC account.
Thank you for your support and understanding.
We’re doing everything we can to ensure that your waste and recycling services are back to running smoothly again.
