You can order free rapid lateral flow tests to test employees (that have no coronavirus symptoms) twice a week in the workplace.
If you have 10 or more employees, from 6 April you’ll be able to order tests for your employees to collect from their workplace and use at home twice a week. You can do this if you cannot provide testing in the workplace.
You must register by 11:59pm on 12 April 2021. If your business is closed or you cannot provide tests now, you should still register so you can order tests in the future.
You can register to order tests if:
- your business is registered in England
- your employees cannot work from home
Visit GOV.UK to register.
Alternatively, you could visit the testing centre in Alton. Visit our website to find out more.
Remember: anyone displaying at least one of the three coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms - a high temperature, a new, continuous cough or a loss of or change to sense of smell or taste - should get a free coronavirus test through the NHS.
At midnight tonight, the local restrictions support grant schemes (LRSG) - for tier two, tier four, and national lockdowns - and the current additional restrictions grant (ARG) scheme will close.
After today, the council will not be able to consider grants for businesses affected by coronavirus restrictions from November 2020 to March 2021 apart from the National Lockdown payment for 16 February to 31 March 2021. Any businesses that have not applied for LRSG or ARG grants since November 2020 should visit the East Hampshire District Council business support webpage.
