Business Intelligence Analyst (Customer Access)

About the role:
In this exciting new role which sits in our Corporate Customer Access team, you will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and supporting the long-term development of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM), single view of the customer and our Call Centre telephony system. This role is pivotal in leading on our Customer Access and Digital Strategy with our CRM system sitting at the heart of it. Part of this role will be reviewing our current CRM processes to identify improvements and drive out waste to creating savings and efficiency. Driving data captures and analysis the results will play a huge part in this, so an understanding of data and how it can inform us is essential. You will be working closely with our in house IT department, the Digital Team and the IT providers for the CRM system. About you:
Successful experience of maintaining and configuring systems will be essential to this role. An understanding of local government services and processes be key, and you must have strong IT skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with sound knowledge of how data can drive decision making.

Housing Services Manager

About the role:
We are looking for a proactive and engaging Housing Services Manager who will provide leadership to our teams to effectively deliver the day to day activities of our housing service. Our Housing Service teams deliver a range of services to our Council tenants, including management of income, estate management, tenant participation and involvement, community development, housing related support service and our community alarm service (Home Safeguard). In addition, you will identify opportunities for service improvement and use your excellent coaching and mentoring skills to develop your teams to deliver a high quality customer service. You will seek to improve performance to deliver good outcomes for our tenants and residents and well as developing our people to encourage and promote talent. You must also be able to work collaboratively and supportively as part of a professional team and be able to manage conflicting priorities and deliver against deadlines.

Accountant

About the role:
Supporting our Financial Services Manager in providing an efficient and effective accountancy service, you will empower service managers to take control and manage their own finances by providing expert financial support and advice. Day-to-day, this busy and varied role will see you drive forward and implement technical accounting policies and procedures, supporting project managers, and maintaining the Council's financial information systems. You will also prepare Council estimates and provide monthly budget monitoring reports to the Strategic Management Team. You will be comfortable liaising with a range of internal and external customers, including senior management, take the lead on the preparation of annual accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness and liaising with external audit, whilst providing support in other areas of accountancy as needed.
About you:
With a proven track record in a similar role (ideally in the public sector), we would like you to show us where you have taken the lead on financial matters, in particular financial statements. Along with a CCAB recognised qualification, you will already have experience in a similar role and be competent with IT-based financial systems. You will need to hit the ground running, so it is important that you can use your initiative and have a talent for communicating technical financial information into easy to understand language. With excellent communication skills, you will be confident working with a wide variety of stakeholders as you share information and advice with others. Highly organised with excellent attention to detail, you are a great team player. You will occasionally need to be able to work out of office hours and attend evening meetings
