StreetScene Cleansing Operative (Seaton/Axminster)

About the role:
We are recruiting cleansing operatives to join 3 of our busy district teams. These roles will involve maintaining our outstanding environment through street cleansing (litter picking / emptying bins), cleaning and stocking public lavatories, general public realm maintenance, and other duties assigned by the area team leader. Two of the roles will require regular weekend working.
About you:
You will need to be able to work diligently with minimal supervision, including work on public holidays when required. You must have practical experience in a cleansing role and you'll need to be able to work seasonal hours* (approximately 8.5 hours a day in summer and 6.5 in winter pro rata). A valid driver's licence is essential, and a category C1 C1E or C driving licence (or B licence issued prior to Jan 1997) would be a distinct advantage.

We are recruiting a mobile operative to join our busy Budleigh and Outer District team based out of our depot in Exmouth. The role will involve maintaining our outstanding environment through general grounds maintenance, grass cutting, strimming, street cleansing (litter picking / emptying bins), maintaining and stocking public lavatories, general public realm maintenance, and other duties assigned by the area team leader.
About you:
You will need to be able to work diligently with minimal supervision, including some weekends and on public holidays. You must have practical experience in a cleansing or grounds maintenance role and you'll need to be able to work *seasonal hours (41.5 hours in summer, 32.5 hours in winter - average of 37 hours per week). A valid driver's licence is essential, and a category C1 C1E or C driving licence (or B licence issued prior to Jan 1997) would be a distinct advantage.
