LISTED BUILDING APPLICATIONS
39 The Strand, Topsham. Kitchen/porch roof, porch roof/entrance hall, rear lead roof annex connection, stairwell lead roof repairs. Remove all lead and existing decking. Install PIR insulation into the ceiling and board over with 12mm ply board. Install 50mm x 50mm joists to the porch to create an airflow. Install breather upstand and grade A 1 F building paper to the porch. New 45mm wood core roll to the porch at centers no wider than 700mm. Install new Code 7 Lead sheet and make good rendering. Gable end wall capping. Remove old lead capping and set aside for recycling. Remove timber substrate, install new timber substrate, stainless steel drip edging and new Code 6 lead capping to wall and dress as required. Replace faulty cast iron & plastic guttering at the rear with Lindab steel half round guttering. Remove nonbreathable exterior rear paint, repair brickwork, repaint with suitable material. Repair rotten wooden windowsills and woodwork in garage. Installation of a wood burner in the sitting room, replacing a disconnected gas fire. 24/1397/LBC
