Wellbeing Exeter will continue to provide support for some of the most vulnerable adults in priority areas in Exeter, thanks to support from Exeter City Council.
However, as we have mentioned before, due to the recent reduction in some of its funding, elements of the Wellbeing Exeter service will cease to operate in some areas.
At the end of March 2024, they will say goodbye to our dedicated team of staff working with young people, as well as some additional connecting work in Beacon Health. We’d like to thank these hugely valued employees for their service and recognise the difference that they have made to so many individuals and groups across the city.
Partners of Wellbeing Exeter can be assured that whilst the alliance will be operating a new core and enhanced offer, we will work together to continue to do our utmost to support our priority communities across both the city and Cranbrook.
Find out more, here.
Wellbeing Exeter recently released an impact report, detailing the impact that they’ve had on individuals and communities in the city since 2016 . Find out more about the report, here.

We are excited to announce that we are helping to support local organisation Cowick Roots and Recreation to provide another season of Park Yoga in St Thomas.
These free sessions were very popular last year and about 64 people attended classes each week. Everybody is welcome to attend and the session are aimed at beginners, meaning that if somebody has never done yoga before, they’ll be supported all the way. The sessions will once again take place on a Sunday and will run from May to September. Once we have final details, we’ll be updating our website with all of the necessary information.
You can read more about the Park Yoga sessions that took place last year, over on our website.

We recently worked with our colleagues in Wonford to host a series of engagement events with the local community, with the aim of encouraging local residents to understand what opportunities there are for Wonford Leisure Centre.
These events were successful, and it was great to see local residents talking to planners and architects about their hub. We’ve written more about this over on our website.

Move More Cranbrook is delighted to announce its first ever Colour Run!
Originally inspired by the Hindu festival of Holi, the Cranbrook Colour Run offers both a 2km fun run and 5km, but runners will be showered with a colourful, safe powder dye at various points throughout the course.
Taking place on Saturday 6 July, this event is all about fun for all ages and we can’t wait.
Move More Cranbrook are on the hunt for more volunteers to help them to deliver events such as this one. If you fancy getting involved, find out more on our website.

Our evaluation partners, SERIO, have been busy since January compiling the results of our Green Circle survey. 731 people completed the online survey and gave us some useful information.
- 94% of respondents said that they had used the Green Circle
- 17% use it more than once per week
- The Ludwell Valley Walk is the most popular (82% of respondents use this section)
- 68% of people using the Green Circle follow signs
- 60% use local knowledge
100 respondents told us that sometimes signs are difficult to see and are often overgrown in the summer months. They also said that some of the signage is ambiguous.
Thanks so much to everybody who completed the survey. We are now going to be working with colleagues to work on some of the elements that you’ve told us about.
You can read the full evaluation report in the brand-new evaluation section on our website.

We recently attended the launch of Inclusive Exeter’s Better Connections work – a three-year programme funded by the National Lottery Communities Fund. This work will build upon the fantastic achievements that they’ve made in the city’s diverse communities over the past few years.
Thanks to Inclusive Exeter for having us, and of course for the utterly delicious food!
