|
Boost to childcare costs
From 28 June Universal Credit claimants will see a rise to the maximum amount of childcare costs they can claim. The changes will increase eligible claims from £646 to £951 if claiming for one child and £1108 to £1630 for two or more children. Parents will continue to be able to claim a maximum of 85% of their costs up to this limit.
Customers will also be able to claim childcare costs up front when moving into work or increasing their hours.

Disability Cost of Living Payment
Most people will be paid the £150 Disability Cost of Living Payment automatically between 20 June 2023 and 4 July 2023.
You must have received a payment (or later receive a payment) of a qualifying disability benefit on 1 April 2023 to get the Disability Cost of Living Payment.
