November 2022 - A Cost of Living update from the UC Support Team

In line with the Council's Cost of Living Support, the Universal Credit Support Team are running some bite size toolbox talks covering the following subjects:
- The Cost of Living Support
- The UC Support Team - meet the team
- The Energy Crisis - hints and tips
- Budgeting and income maximisation
If you're interested in any of the above presentations please inform your line manager, who can contact us directly by email or call 01563 503280 to arrange a toolbox talk. This can be face-to-face or via MS Team. We are happy to attend your team meeting or arrange additional bespoke sessions, if required.

The Scottish Child Payment
The Scottish Government payment of £20 per week for each eligible child under 6 years old is increasing from 14 November 2022 to £25 per week. You can also apply from this date if you have a child age 6 to 15 and are in receipt of a qualifying benefit. Read more about how to apply
