Hello Mauchline Community, Friends and Partners,
My name is Darran Littauer-Dolan and I am your new Project Officer for Mauchline Conservation Area Regeneration Scheme (CARS), following the retirement of Lynn Rew.
Previously I was employed by Glasgow City Council, I have a degree in Urban & Regional Planning and qualifications in Architectural Conservation, Interior Design and Graphic Communication. I have a keen interest in restoring and conserving buildings having carried out a number of my own housing restorations. I have moved into a traditional house in the town which I have plans to restore.
I cannot wait to start seeing the restoration works begin in our town it really is an exciting time for Mauchline. I would like to thank all members of the community for their interest in the project and again to those who have expressed their interest in restoring our beautiful and historic town’s buildings.
I am currently working hard behind the scenes to ensure our Mauchline Office is ready to open to the public - at which point I look forward to meeting more of our community.
