Who are Dudley Welfare Rights and What Do They Do ?

Do you know who the Dudley Welfare Rights Service is, or what they do?
Join us online on Thursday 9th November 12:30pm -1:30pm with Sharon Tilt (Welfare Benefits Manager) from the Dudley Welfare Rights Service.
Sharon will be sharing the varied work that the team is involved in, including the routes for support for both residents and professionals. This is an opportunity to find out what they do, how they do it, and how best to secure the support for people we work with.

Provision House | Free Financial Resilience Course for the Employed ! |

Get ready for Christmas and Join Provision House's Free Financial Resilience Course
Funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), this course is for EMPLOYED people. (Being employed includes full-time, part-time, Flexi hours, zero hours, self-employed or if you consider yourself employed). The course is intended to help employed people maximise their financial situation. Provision House are also offering confidential 1-2-1 support through this course, again all FREE of charge.
As an incentive, Provision House have 50 high-spec Chrome book and/or My-fi to give away for FREE for those that complete the course. Eligibility criteria apply.
The 6-week course will start w/b 6th November. There will be four separate classes starting during that week. You only have to pick one according to your availability. In this respect, we will have an evening class, two day time classes and a Saturday class you could attend. All classes are only 2 hours.
As an organisation, if there is a day or time where all your staff are available, there is scope we can deliver this course just to you and your staff onsite. Please contact Amy at training@provisionhouse.co.uk if you would like to explore that possibility.

The Connect Project, based at Top Church, Brierley Hill. |

The Connect Project based at Top Church, 30-32 High Street in Brierley Hill, offer an array of volunteering opportunities within their Harry's Community Place, including kitchen assistant roles, customer service, waitering and admin duties.
You may prefer to volunteer outdoors at their Allotments project or at their weekly group activities. To find out more please get in touch with them.

The Connect Project also provide a 1-2-1 practical service to people either at risk of homelessness or have become homeless. They also offer activities, such as family engagement group sessions, wellness walks and allotment sessions. They also have coffee mornings at their Cafe "Harry's".
