Supporters of the Avro Vulcan XH558 are being invited to attend a series of open days giving them the chance to see the iconic aircraft up close in the coming weeks.
Four special events have been created and will take place on April 28, May 12, May 19 and June 9 where visitors will be able to enjoy time in the presence of British aviation history.
There will be two sessions on each of the dates, a morning session will begin at 10am and an afternoon session at 1pm.
Have you validated your code?
Important information for working parents claiming 15 or 30 hours childcare funding.
If you’ve received an 11 digit eligibility code to access funded childcare this term, your code needs to be checked as soon as possible by your childcare provider.
If you have any difficulties with the code, please call: 0300 123 4097
Recycle Right in Doncaster
We often get asked why blue bins are tagged and not taken for collection...
Here are some examples of contaminated materials, which show why a tag has been issued and the waste not taken away.
The pictures are examples from Doncaster households and include nappies, food waste, plastic carrier bags and bin liners. These cannot be sent for recycling in Doncaster and contribute to an annual cost of £300k to rectify so please put them in your black bin.
Despite what it may say on the label, plastic pots, tubs, and trays are typically a low-grade plastic and harder to recycle, so please put them in your black bin as well.
We have a full A-Z guide which can be used to help decide what goes in to what bin:
