Frost Festival Finale

Less than a week to go until our Frost Festival Finale in Sir Nigel Gresley Square.

Join us for traditional carols and festive entertainment beside the Christmas tree from 6pm - 9pm next Thursday 21 December.

We have festive treats including rides, carol singing, snow globe, food and drink and Father Christmas will be stopping by too!

Frost fest finale

If you're into the Christmas spirit and looking for what to do next as part of the festivities then our Visit Doncaster Team have put together a handy itinerary on how to make the most of your festive city this December.

Festive City

And don't forget During the festive season, City of Doncaster Council  is supporting the City Centre by offering free parking available until Friday 5th January from weekdays at 2pm and all day Saturday, at:

  • Markets Car Park
  • St Georges Car Park
  • Colonnades Underground Car Park

Tis the season...for some tree planting

You might have noticed some of our teams planting trees around the city over the past few weeks.

Most of the trees our Street Scene team are planting this season are called “Heavy Standards,” averaging around 12-14cm in diameter and around 3-4m in height.

Between now and April/May 2024, over 250 Heavy Standard trees are scheduled to be planted around the city.
