This week at the RBCFT we’ve got Death on the Nith, oops, A Haunting in Venice, the third film featuring Kenneth Branagh as Belgian detective Hercule Poirot. Past Lives is our late evening film on Tuesday and Wednesday and our Bring a Baby film this week, it’s a stunning love story that spans time. From Friday 13 October we have what's long been considered the greatest concert film ever (Stop Making Sense), Ken Loach's brilliant new drama The Old Oak and Puffin Rock and the New Friends is our family film for the first week of the school holidays (PAW Patrol: The Might Movie is our family film from Friday 20 October). Oppenheimer returns for two daytime screenings.

They attend a séance at the decaying palazzo of famed opera singer Rowena Drake. When one of the guests is suddenly found murdered, could there be more at play than Poirot’s logic can explain?

Stop Making Sense has been restored in 4K to celebrate its 40th anniversary.

Our final screenings for this terrific 3-hour long drama about the father of the atom bomb. The film has now taken over $933m at the worldwide box office.

New drama from director Ken Loach. The future for the last remaining pub, The Old Oak in a village of the Northeast England, where people are leaving the land as the mines are closed. Houses are cheap and available thus making it an ideal location for the Syrian refugees.
