Below is how you can arrange this;
What you need …
If you do not have a console available, you will need confidential waste bags. These are 750mm x 450mm and can hold up to 17.5kg of confidential waste. Bags can be supplied by PSS by contacting them direct and are delivered free of charge.
What you need to do…
Contact PSS directly by calling 077 477 92167 or e-mailing mail@weshredpaper.co.uk
What you need to supply PSS with …
- Departmental cost centre (do not include the detail code)
- Full postal address
- Key contact for the uplift
- Number of bags to be collected
- Frequency of collection (if your request is for a console uplift)
What is the cost involved?
£6.00 to schedule an ad-hoc console uplift from a Council building or £30.00 to schedule ad hoc bag collection for 1-20 bags (it is best to wait until you have 20 bags as this is a flat rate). Each additional bag over 20 is charged at £1.50 per bag.
You are no longer required to raise a PECOS order – just follow the steps above.
If you are they key contact for a council building and wish to reinstate your console uplifts, please contact RecordsManagement@dumgal.gov.uk
