Wednesday 24 June at 10.00am

On Wednesday 24 June Lorna Meahan, and representatives from the SJC Joint Trade Unions in Dumfries and Galloway will be answering your questions live as part of an online Q&A session.  James McCrossan will represent GMB, Ann Farrell will represent Unite, and Phil McGroggan will represent Unison.

This is your chance to ask questions directly to Lorna and the trade unions about our response to COVID-19, and our progress to restart and recovery, or any other question that is important to you. This is the final in the series of these webinars before the summer period and we will continue with these in the future with members of our Senior Leadership Team.

You can submit a question in advance here or you can ask questions during the live event. Any questions that we don’t get the time to cover on Wednesday will receive a written reply by email within 3 working days, so please include your email address to allow us to respond.

To participate in the webinar and see all of the questions answered live, you need to register here. Once you have registered, you will receive a link to take part in the webinar. For any staff member unable to participate live, a recording of the webinar will be made available online afterwards.

It is worth noting that the Director of Skills, Education and Learning has provided an opportunity for all Education staff to ask her questions direct relating to the response and restart in Education.  If you are an Education staff member who has an Education related question, please submit it here and this will be responded to separately as part of a pre-recorded webinar or direct to you via email.

Any staff member who wishes to participate should be given the opportunity to do so during work time by their line manager wherever possible in line with service requirements, however please seek agreement from your line manager.

If you supervise or line manage any staff, please encourage and support them to participate where possible, including staff without access to a corporate device.  Any staff member without access to a corporate device can use their own personal device to take part, so please also encourage this where appropriate.
