Get your questions answered on teacher development
Join our teacher development webinar at 10am on 7 July to discover more and ask questions about the support the DfE offers from initial teacher training, through Early Career Framework-based support for early career teachers, and on to National Professional Qualifications.
The event will be useful for anyone making strategic decisions around teaching, learning, personnel or finance: head and principals, executive leaders, senior leaders, governors and trustees and school business professionals.
Targeted support funding for small schools
To help teachers and leaders in smaller settings who may find it harder to engage with professional development, we’ve announced a new targeted support fund.
From autumn 2022, state-funded schools and 16-to-19 educational settings with 1 to 600 pupils will be paid £200 for each teacher or leader they employ who takes an NPQ.
