
Member Addresses
As part of our dashboard readiness checks we are currently reviewing all member home addresses to ensure they are displayed in the correct format.
If there are empty lines within the address, or the house number and street name are displayed across two lines instead of one, the Pensions Dashboard will return a warning. The checks also apply to the postcode, which should have a single gap to separate the two parts.
Please ensure that home addresses submitted on the monthly Interface template for new starters or address changes comply with the Pensions Dashboard requirements.
As set out in the administration strategies for both the Devon and Somerset Pension Funds audits are a key part in ensuring the benefits we pay are correctly calculated.
With this in mind Devon Assurance Partnership (DAP) will be commencing another audit early November to assess the quality of data received through the monthly interfaces and leaver forms we receive from employers and payroll providers. This audit will involve DAP contacting approximately 30 randomly selected employers directly to ask about the data they have provided. If you are one of the selected employers, you will be contacted by Scarlett McCormick (Scarlett.Mccormick@devon.gov.uk).
Both ourselves and DAP appreciate that everyone is busy and whilst this audit will help reassure the Fund of the quality of data we receive, we hope it will not take too much out of your day to talk with DAP so please engage fully with them and provide them with what they need by the requested deadline.

Keep us updated with any changes in staff responsible for completing our forms (authorised signatories). This can be done by completing our online form.
Payment of Pension Fund Contributions - please remember to inform us and the relevant Finance team each time you have paid your pension scheme contributions, by filling in the Monthly Contributions Form.
If you are changing your Payroll Provider, please contact the Employer & Communications Team so that we can help you through the process and make sure you retain access to historical payroll information.
TUPEs & New Academies - Please do not complete the leaver spreadsheet if members are leaving your employment and transferring to another employer under TUPE. Follow the process outlined on our website instead.
