Help Shape Plymouth’s Plan for Nature
Plymouth City Council is inviting feedback on a new five-year plan to put nature at the heart of the city’s future.
The plan aims to create a nature-rich Plymouth, where everyone lives within 400m of quality green space, and natural areas are treated as vital infrastructure.
It also supports green jobs, climate resilience, and inclusive community spaces designed with local input.
CAMP: Where Are We Now?
From 6 September to 25 October 2025, the Thelma Hulbert Gallery in Honiton presents CAMP: Where Are We Now?—a vibrant exhibition of contemporary art responding to environmental themes.
Created by members of CAMP (Contemporary Art Membership Platform), the show features diverse works exploring climate and ecological issues from multiple perspectives and disciplines.
CAMP is a member-led network supporting artists across Devon, Cornwall, and the Isles of Scilly. This exhibition showcases their creativity, collaboration, and commitment to sustainable futures.

Active Hope Course – Build Resilience for Climate Action
Totnes Climate Hub is offering a transformative Active Hope course, inspired by the work of Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone. It’s designed to help participants explore emotions around the climate crisis, strengthen resilience, and take meaningful action.
The course follows the four stages of the Work That Reconnects, offering a supportive space for reflection and empowerment.

Film Screening & Curry Night: #CLIMATESCAM?
Join a powerful evening of food, film, and conversation at the Alice Cross Centre, Teignmouth, on Saturday 13 September.
Screening #CLIMATESCAM?, a documentary by Cornwall Climate Care that dives into the world of climate misinformation and its real-world consequences.
Evening Schedule
6:30pm: Curry supper (vegan option available) 7:30pm: Film screening – #CLIMATESCAM? 8–9pm: Group discussion
Free entry – booking essential (seating is limited) Donations welcome for the film
Curry includes rice, naan, poppadoms & chutneys – £15 on the night. The bar will be open throughout, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at competitive prices.
Join the Community Bike Ride
 Get your wheels ready for a fun and friendly Community Bike Ride hosted by Exmouth Town Council and Exmouth Tri-Hards!
📅 Date: Sunday 14 September 🕘 Time: Meet at 9:30am, ride departs at 10:30am, finishes by 12:30pm 📍 Location: The Mallow, Sideshore, Exmouth
Enjoy a scenic 3.2-mile ride from Sideshore to A La Ronde and back, with free refreshments and a half-hour break at the halfway point. The route includes the seafront and Exe Trail, with stewards and bike leaders on hand to support the group.
Pedal-assisted e-bikes welcome. Families are encouraged to join, but under-18s must be accompanied by an adult.
Free to attend.
Climate Mingle with Plymouth Energy Community
 Join the next Climate Mingle on Thursday 25 September, 6–8pm at Plymouth Energy Community’s new advice hub on Union Street.
Whether you're curious about solar panels, heat pumps, or just want to tackle condensation, this is a great chance to ask questions and explore practical, local solutions.

A Bioregional Banquet: Cultivating Common Ground
Join the Bioregional Learning Centre on Friday 3rd October, 5–10pm at The Barn, South Milton, for an inspiring evening exploring the future of food in South Devon.
This unique event brings together farmers, food producers, and local residents to share a meal and engage in open, inclusive conversations about building a more resilient and sustainable food system.
Through storytelling, community dialogue, and a shared banquet, the evening will highlight how local food culture can support climate adaptation, food security, and social connection.

 Food, Farming, Fisheries and Forestry (4Fs) is hosting an event on Saturday 4th October at the Courtenay Centre, Newton Abbot, focused on the value of local food.
The day will feature sessions on food and health, the role of local food in schools, and ways to support local producers.
