At the beginning of the month we distributed a list to employers who had members with outstanding queries. This email included details of any fines that may be incurred if the queries are not resolved by the specified deadline of 31st August 2025.
Please review this list, if applicable, to ensure you have ample time to address the queries, as some may require more time to resolve than others.
Should you need any assistance, please contact the Employer and Communications team who will be happy to help.
In October 2025, all employers will be issued with their next ‘Employer Performance Report/Card’ which will summarise some of the key areas for the current financial year April – September 2025, both achieved and outstanding (if applicable).
This report will be a significant improvement on the first version produced at the end of 2024 to ensure clarity and useful information for all.
Earlier in the year, random audits were undertaken on the data provided by a small selection of employers. It is planned for these checks to be undertaken each year, to provide ongoing reassurance around the quality of employee/scheme member data being provided.
If you are contacted by DAP, please do ensure that you engage with them accordingly. The importance of keeping your contact details updated for both us and DAP is therefore vital. We would strongly encourage you to regularly refresh yourselves around the employer responsibilities when providing data with regards to the LGPS.
There is a full suite of guidance available on our website link https://www.peninsulapensions.org.uk/employers/ , and our Employer & Communications team will be happy to help you and talk you through any areas you maybe unclear on. Please do contact us so that we can support you 😊.
Please do not complete the leaver spreadsheet if members are leaving your employment and transferring to another employer under TUPE. Follow the process outlined on our website instead.
