Recycle Devon is encouraging everyone to make a pledge and ‘wear what you have’

Text saying 'Turn your wardrobe upside down' with a picture of a pile of clothes with someone's legs sticking out.

Did you know that according to the waste charity WRAP, extending a garment’s lifespan by just by nine months could reduce its carbon footprint by as much as 30 per cent?

Recycle Devon's new 'Wear what you have' campaign is encouraging everyone to make a pledge to breathe new life into old clothes to reduce their carbon footprint and keep them out of the bin.

By making one of a series of pledges to reduce the number of clothes you buy, extend the life of items you already own or donate clothes you no longer wear you will also be entered into a prize draw to win one of 10 Duronic Fabric De-Bobblers.

Make a pledge on the Recycle Devon website.
