Coronavirus - where to find up to date information
DCC Public Health have put together a website aimed at residents which brings together all the relevant public links to information about Coronavirus. Devon schools are encouraged to direct their parent communities to this website in order to keep up to date with the latest information.
Guidance COVID-19: guidance for educational settings

See the guidance on GOV.UK which is updated regularly and includes advice for schools should they suspect a case of COVID-19 (pupil, student or staff) in their childcare or education setting. This includes the current guidance that there is no need to close the setting or send other learners or staff home - see section 5. 'What to do if a case of COVID-19 (pupil, student or staff) is suspected in your childcare or education setting' for more details on this and how to prevent the spread of infection.
Media enquiries about school trips and travel
Public Health England is currently receiving a high number of queries from local media and schools around the travel advice in relation to COVID-19 and have suggested that any enquiries from the media you may receive are redirected to the Devon County Council Press Office, who will respond to the enquiry on your behalf. If you need to do this please would you also contact the Press Office to let them know you have received a call, discuss the nature of the enquiry and your current situation and agree a line to take.
