Head Strong - Investing in ourselves. Wellbeing - what’s it all about?The H E A D S T R O N G document raises awareness and highlights the importance of personal effectiveness, work life balance, dedicated headship time and the importance of wellbeing at work. Presented by Babcock LDP and School Leadership Support Service, in partnership with the Devon Association of Primary Headteachers (DAPH) and Devon County Council.
DAPH Representation on Working Groups
The scope and role of DAPH within the local context is illustrated in the Working Groups Representation Chart effective for the current academic year. When attending meetings of Devon Education Forum (DEF), its sub-groups and other statutory or working groups, DAPH Representatives provide a summary of key messages and issues affecting the primary phase.

Joint local area SEND inspection in Devon - report published 5 February 2019
Between 10 December 2018 and 14 December 2018, Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) conducted a joint inspection of the local area of Devon to judge the effectiveness of the area in implementing the disability and special educational needs reforms as set out in the Children and Families Act 2014. Jo Olsson, who chairs the Devon Children and Families Partnership (DCFP) Executive, has written to all parents. In her L E T T E R she affirms the commitment of partners to continue the programme of improvement, which Inspectors confirmed was on the right track.
