Thank you to all of you who attended, especially in the bad weather – we hope you found the meetings useful. Copies of all the slides are now available on the website
For those of you have couldn’t attend, we would be grateful if you could take some time to complete our survey
The main topics discussed are outlined below
If you currently download the Starter, Changes in Hours and Changes in Details forms from our website, they will no longer be available from Monday 11th February 2019. Instead, you will need to use ESS or interfaces. You will also be able to use ESS for member estimates. More information and guidance will be available on our website from Monday but if you have any questions or would like some training, please email Emma Davies.
Previous editions of Pensions Line have mentioned the Data Quality exercise we will be undertaking for all LGPS Pension Fund employers – full details can be found on our website. The process will be launched in the next few weeks with the plan to start with the smaller employers but if you want to request your data sooner rather than later, please email Richard Tuck.
Further to the proposed regulation changes outlined in January’s edition and at the PLOG’s last week, we have received an email from the Scheme Advisory Board announcing a pause in the cost cap process for public service pension schemes pending the outcome of the application to appeal the McCloud case to the Supreme Court. More details can be found on our website
We have recently reviewed this area of work and been busy defining procedures. Guidance has been written and will be available on the website shortly.
