GDPR | Stay in touch with DAPH and DASH
We are contacting you as you receive the DAPH or DASH Update newsletter via a DCC application we currently use called Govdelivery. As you are aware, changes under GDPR relating to how subscriptions are managed will soon be in place and all subscriptions will be managed by the subscriber.
With
GDPR coming into force on 25 May 2018 we wanted to let you know what Devon County Council are doing to ensure they, as an authority, are compliant and that our subscribers know they have control over how they manage their data.
On Friday 27 April 2018 Devon County Council sent you an email titled 'Do you still want to hear from us? Update and review your email subscription'. This included important information regarding updating, managing or deleting your current subscriptions. DCC has taken advice from its Information Governance team which has advised that the sending of this email will ensure DCC are protecting themselves from
any future data breach.
A few points to note:-
- We would recommend that you continue to subscribe to ensure that you receive regular news and important updates which are relevant to school leadership.
- Should you choose to cancel your subscription, you will no longer receive any further DAPH or DASH Update newsletters from this office
