ASCL is offering group discount to
Devon secondary school leaders for next year's conference on 9-10 March 2018 at
ICC Birmingham.
Additionally, DASH is offering one FREE place to Devon
secondary schools (who are members of DASH) to attend the event in Birmingham
on Friday 9th and Saturday 10th March 2018. Your ticket will be paid for
by DASH (1 place per school) and includes accommodation and the Saturday night
meal. Travel arrangements not included.
Please note that
the DASH subsidy arrangement is only applicable for bookings made on
or before 30 November 2017.

#Lost in Transition: Supporting
Transgender and Gender Diverse Pupils
Dawn Stabb, Head of
Education & Learning is funding a free conference for Devon schools,
delivered in partnership with The Intercom Trust, aimed at helping schools to
understand the issues facing transgender children and how best you can support
them. Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment. Only one
place per school will be accepted. The conference will be on 9 January 2018 at
Exeter Racecourse and includes a keynote speaker from the National Centre of
Expertise, The Portman Clinic.
