Service Review
Following on from my earlier communication regarding a Service Review of Devon County Council’s Children’s Services, I can now confirm that the team are with us from today, Monday 22 May.
The Service Review Team will focus on the frontline; impact and outcomes – what difference are we making? Over the coming week they will meet with Children’s Services staff across the county, track and sample cases, meet with care leavers, and observe a child protection conference. The team will also consider how our partnership working delivers the outcomes required for children and young people.
This Review provides us with a fantastic opportunity to share and test the progress we are making, and help us to identify any areas where we need to challenge the way we work.
I will be back in touch following the Review to share the outcomes and key recommendations.
