Dear BWC members,
With 2017 fully up and running we wanted to bring you a new look round
up of news and events that can support and develop your business. Our aim is to
make the scheme even bigger, increasing our reach to make sure as many
consumers as possible are aware that being a member of Buy With Confidence
means your services are backed and vetted by Trading Standards.
We would
like to take this opportunity to thank all our members for your support of the scheme.
As a thank you we are organising a range of promotional and marketing activity
starting with a refreshed newsletter (with further updates to follow) for you
to see the range of support and advice available. We’d love to hear what you
think about the newsletter, the scheme, plus your suggestions. And don’t forget
to follow us on Facebook and Twitter.
Yours, The Buy With Confidence Team

Membership fees Further to our notification last year that
in light of our pledge to make Buy With Confidence a
truly national scheme, a decision was made that from 1 April 2016, all scheme
operators should charge the same price and use the same price banding structure
for membership. As the fees previously charged by Devon & Somerset Trading
Standards were below these new fees, this lead to an unavoidable price
increase. Further information and details of new fees
