Jo Olsson's update on getting caseloads right

"This isn’t just about making sure our frontline staff and managers have the time to do a great job. That is very important.  Equally important is for us to make sure that

  • only the families who need to be in the statutory system, come into it
  • only children who need to be on a plan, are on one
  • only children who need to be in care, come into care

"That isn’t what our practice is like now..." Find out more.

MOMO update

MOMO new options available – ‘My worker is visiting’

The free Mind of My Own - MOMO app is an easy way for children in care or who have a social worker to tell their worker, or another adult that is working with them, what they are thinking and get things off their chest. For example, to use it before a meeting, to ask for a change or to get a problem sorted. Many young people across the country have found it really helpful to get their views heard.

MOMO has launched some new options including a  visit recording tool called ‘My worker is visiting’. Find out more.
