This week, we have begun the process of recruiting to the posts of Head of Children’s Social Work, and Head of Adult Social Care. (PDF version)


We have commissioned the Institute of Public Care to carry out a Test of Assurance of our statutory roles of Director of Children’s Services, Director of Adult Social Services (combined in the role of Strategic Director People) as well as the Lead Member for Children’s Services and the Lead Member for Adult Social Services

New visitor car park
From Monday 29 June 2015, the new visitor car park pay and display machine will be in operation. County Hall staff are reminded that these spaces are for visitor parking only

Pay and grade review for social workers in Adult Social Care
Parity has been achieved between adult social worker and children and family social worker pay grades. All experienced social workers in adult services working for us will be paid at Grade G, with ASYEs paid at Grade F. (PDF version)
