3E is the new weight management service in Devon that supports families of overweight children (aged 2-5 years) achieve and maintain a healthy weight. Emphasis is upon fun and support that help the family manage family lifestyle change, increase family activity levels and reduce the BMI of an overweight child. The Public Health Nursing Team will be contacting families of overweight reception age children in priority areas. (Phase 1 priorities for the National Child Measurement Programme are Barnstaple, Bideford, Ilfracombe, Newton Abbot, Tiverton and Exeter).
