Household Support Fund grocery voucher data request – deadline 22 December 2022 

Schools have been emailed, and also a letter placed in the Perspective Lite December General folder, requesting data and up-to-date parent contact details for children eligible to receive a free grocery voucher as part of the Council’s Household Support Fund distribution. Please note that data must be submitted by the end of 22 December 2022. For any questions, please email HSFVouchers@derbyshire.gov.uk.Thank you for your support.


Derbyshire Attendance Project – reminder

Applications for the Derbyshire Attendance Project for pupils experiencing Emotionally-Based School Non-Attendance (EBSNA) and pupils currently on a part-time timetable due to social and emotional needs, are required by Monday 9 January. More information can be found on Derbyshire Services for Schools


Perspective Lite secure transfer

Please email cs.web@derbyshire.gov.uk as soon as possible if you have a new Headteacher in post from January, so we can update account details and maintain access to important documents. For all other staff, schools should review their Perspective Lite user accounts and delete any users who no longer work or require access for their role at the school, in line with our Information Sharing Agreement.

Department for Education updated cyber security standards for schools and colleges

Having worked on cyber awareness projects with the DfE and the National Cyber Security Centre, the Cyber Team at Education Data Hub are ideally placed to support school leaders in meeting the updated cyber security standards. Please see Derbyshire Services for Schools for more information.


New guidance for schools on the public sector equality duty – Equality Act 2010

The Equality and Human Rights Commission has issued new guidance on their website to help schools fulfil the duties they have. The council is reviewing this guidance and if necessary, will produce further guidance to assist schools during early 2023. The new Schools Working for Us Handbook 22/23 and covering letter are now available to view on Derbyshire Services for Schools.
