Transfer to Secondary Education September 2023

Numbers relating to on time applications for transfer to secondary education in September 2023 are now available for schools to view on the School Access Module (SAM). If you receive preferences for out of county children, applications are still awaited from some neighbouring authorities so please check your numbers at regular intervals. Information on assessments for own admission authority schools will be sent direct to schools shortly.

Please see the information provided to schools who administer their own In-year applications, to remind them of the procedure for handling In-year applications and of their duty to inform the local authority of all applications received and their outcomes as required by the School Admissions Code 2021.
