HR news and updates for all line managers
|
|
Last year we carried out a review of how we undertake job evaluation. As a result of that review, today we are launching a new Job Evaluation Toolkit for managers on the employee website.
The Toolkit explains when you might need to submit a job for evaluation, the process to follow, the Pay and Reward Team’s Service Level Agreements and all the documentation you will need to carry out this process.
We’ve introduced one point of contact through your HR Business Partner who will be able to support you through this process and the HR specialists in Pay and Reward will talk to you directly if they need more information
All the information in the toolkit is available on the Our Derbyshire employee website here
A short webinar is available that explains when you need to submit a job for evaluation and where you can find the information you need. To access the webinar, click on the link, log into Derbyshire Learning Online and click ‘View’.

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) are currently undertaking unannounced spot checks of establishments for COVID-19 compliance. These could be in person or via the telephone.
If an inspector or COVID-19 compliance officer turns up at your establishment they should have ID which they should produce to verify their identity. Please co-operate with the inspector. They will want to see your risk assessment and check that the mitigating or control measures on your risk assessment are in place and that staff are aware of and are following them.
If your establishment is authorised to be open currently, please ensure your COVID-19 secure risk assessment is in place, has been regularly reviewed (and revised if necessary) and all staff who have approval to attend the workplace are aware of it. If you need any additional support with this please contact your departmental Health and Safety team.
