Stay at home, stay local

Stay at home

Once again in the High Peak and the rest of the county, we find ourselves in a national lockdown and this will naturally bring feelings of frustration, sadness and even anger.

If you’re struggling to stay afloat during these difficult times, there is help and support available if you need it with lots of advice around mental health and wellbeing on our website.

It’s really important that we all stay at home as much as possible and stay local to crack down on this virus and help reduce the spread.

That means working from home unless you really cannot do your job without being at work and only leaving the house for:

  • essential goods and services
  • health care
  • outdoor exercise once a day either alone, with people from your household (or support bubble) or one other person.

Get all the information you need to know about the latest national lockdown on the Government’s website.

Vaccinations

First staff vaccine

If you're in an eligible group for the Covid-19 vaccine then you'll be keen to know when you will receive it.

Patients will be contacted when their vaccine is available and we're asking everyone to avoid contacting their surgery in the meantime.

Everyone has an important part to play and we’re asking people to please remember the following:

  • please don’t contact the NHS to seek a vaccine, they will contact you;
  • when you are contacted, please attend your booked appointments;
  • please continue to follow all the guidance to control the virus and save lives.
