If you’re reading this, you’re thinking about your drinking.
Lots of us feel like we’re drinking a bit too much, or too often, or just that we could do with time off.
A month off is the perfect way to reset your relationship with alcohol. It only takes three weeks to break a habit, so this could be your route to happier, healthier drinking long-term.

Have a breakfast
This can limit our intake of fatty and sugary foods during the morning. Good examples include porridge and poached eggs
Think about portion size
It is easy to over consume with food at Christmas- which will also mean we are consuming many more calories than usual.
Stock up on your veg
Having a healthy amount of vegetables on your plate will reduce the amount of overall calories we are consuming.
Don’t sit down all day
Encourage your loved ones to get up and go for a walk, play a game, or play with gifts, this will allow you to use some of the food you have consumed as energy.
Think before you eat
Christmas is a time where we have the unlimited availability of foods high in calories. By thinking before we eat instead of mindlessly popping the food in our mouth we can save ourselves empty calories.
