Comprehensive inspection programme completed

Next Phase consultation now closed
The next phase winter consultation has now closed. This consultation sought your views on the principles of how we will regulate new models of care and complex providers; changes to assessment frameworks across all sectors; how we will register services for people with learning disabilities; and the way we will regulate NHS trusts and foundation trusts from April 2017.
A second consultation in the spring will seek views on a number of areas, including how we will regulate adult social care and primary medical service providers from October 2017.

Remember to update your contact details
It is important to update your provider or Registered Manager
contact details if these change. You can do this either by using the Provider
Portal, or if you don't have an account, you can complete this form.
To use the Provider Portal, log into your account and click 'Registration'
on the top purple bar. You can then make changes to your name, email address,
and any service contact details in the relevant section.
The Provider Portal is the online system which allows you to
send statutory notifications and make changes to your registration in a quick
and efficient way. If you are a provider with 10 or fewer locations you should
have been invited to create an account. If you fit this criteria but have not
been invited to create an account, please contact us at enquiries@cqc.org.uk or call 03000 616 161
(select option 4).
New CQC fees for registered providers 2017/18 to be published in March
Next month, we'll be publishing our final fees scheme that sets out our annual charges to providers from April 2017. Following a full public consultation last year, these changes are to make sure that we can continue monitoring, inspecting and regulating services to ensure they meet the fundamental standards of quality and safety.
The amount that providers will pay for their regulation will depend on the type of health or social care they offer, as well as how close they are already to meeting the cost of their regulation in full. The full details of the fees increase will be published in our final fees scheme in March. We will also publish our response to the fees consultation and other supporting information.
