CQC annual provider survey: we want to hear your views

Our annual survey is now open to all providers across the country and is your chance to tell us what you think about our approach to regulation. You can take part in the online survey here which closes on Thursday 2 February 2017.

The survey has 15 questions and should take no more than 10 minutes to complete. Please remember to press ‘Finish’ on the questionnaire to submit your response before you close it. Your feedback will remain anonymous and we will share the findings back with you in the spring.

A focus on improvement

Encouraging improvement is a key priority in our strategy and we want to celebrate Outstanding care when we see it. We've changed how we display this information on our website so it is easier to follow. Examples now correspond to the five key questions we ask in our inspections and are then grouped by the key line of enquiry they relate to. You can view online here.

Proposals for our next phase of regulation: your views

We are now consulting on proposals for our next phase of regulation (closes 14 February 2017). This includes proposals for how we will regulate new and complex types of providers, and changes to our assessment frameworks and key lines of enquiry. You can read and respond to the consultation online.

CQC and the Healthwatch Network: working together

We have produced a joint briefing with Healthwatch England looking at how we work together in primary and integrated care. The briefing shares examples of how both organisations have worked well together locally.

Registration update on new care models

We've published a registration update for vanguards and other new care models, for providers who are, or who are considering, providing new care models.

We would also welcome comments on the document. These could include issues that have not been considered, or from those developing any proposals who feel that the guidance does not answer their questions about registration with CQC. Please contact us via enquiries-newmodelsofcare@cqc.org.uk
