Our review of how NHS trusts investigate and learn from deaths
We've started gathering evidence for our review of how NHS trusts investigate and learn from deaths. We've worked with charities, campaigners and government bodies to
prepare for our site visits and design and test a survey for NHS trusts.
Give us your feedback: NHS Patient Survey Programme
We
are looking for your views on our proposed changes to the NHS Patient Survey
Programme.
We
use the results of this programme to inform many aspects of our work. Our
proposals include changes to what is covered in the programme and the
frequency of specific surveys so that it has the greatest possible impact and
value for those who use its findings.
This year's Care
Home Open Day 2016 took place on Friday 17 June. Staff from CQC were on hand to answer your questions about what we do, and to help support this event,
which gives the public a chance to visit their local care home and find out about their work.
We welcome the publication of the first Workforce Race Equality Standard report by the NHS Equality and Diversity Council.
The report has been compiled as part of the NHS Workforce Race Equality Standard (WRES), which was introduced in April 2015 to make sure that employees from BME backgrounds have equal access to career opportunities and fair treatment in the NHS.
