Our district crown prosecutors lead a team of advocates, prosecutors, paralegals and administrators who are responsible for the day-to-day delivery of criminal prosecutions. They’re central to the success of the prosecutions delivered by their team.
You’ll have expert knowledge of criminal offences and be able to advise on a wide range of criminal casework. As a district crown prosecutor, you’ll be responsible for decisions made by your team and you'll have a mentoring role to help develop staff through their career.
You’ll take a leading role in the local criminal justice system, managing relationships with the local police and other criminal justice partners. You’ll engage with local community groups to better understand their needs and to build confidence in the CPS.
Whilst leading and managing your team is your day-to-day role, you will at times represent the CPS in court as a crown advocate.
If you’re interested in playing a role in delivering justice – what are you waiting for?
