As a paralegal officer you’ll play a key role in making sure cases are ready for court. You'll work mostly in an office, going through casework and working closely with prosecutors.
You’ll work with all agencies involved in the criminal justice system on a daily basis. You’ll liaise with lawyers, the police, courts, judges, expert witnesses and intermediaries to make sure everything is in order for court.
No case will be the same, so you’ll gain a lot of experience in criminal law, working on all kinds of criminal cases from minor offences to serious crimes.
