Our paralegal assistants are highly organised, with excellent people skills and a passion for public service.
As a paralegal assistant you’ll spend most of your time in court. You’ll support our prosecution team by providing administrative assistance, drafting briefs to support sentencing hearings and acting as a liaison with external advocates who prosecute on our behalf.
You’ll be the face of the CPS for victims and witnesses, meeting them and helping to make the court process as comfortable and understandable as possible.
Paralegal assistants work in close knit teams with paralegal staff and prosecutors. It’s a fast paced role, but you’ll make a difference every day by supporting victims and witnesses going through the criminal justice system.
