OCR Updates - 12 June
Schools are reminded to seek legal advice before entering in to contracts. We have been made aware that a company has been approaching schools in relation to organising sports athletes to visit schools for a fee, and in turn promising provision of sports equipment which has not been provided. The company appears to be operating under a number of names: Inspired Through Sport, ITS Talent and ITS Wellbeing.
Responding to racism - anti-racism resource
Jennifer Jenkins (RE Facilitator for Coventry/Warwickshire) has put together an anti-racism resource - we know this is only the tip of the iceberg, but we hope it will be useful to schools.
We still have a few places available on the following RSE training. If you are interested please book on via the eventbrite links.
If you have any queries regarding the training or would like more information please contact Becci Buckle, Education and Wellbeing Manager North (rebecca.buckle@brook.org.uk).

The Be Active Be Healthy Team are still available to support schools by offering physical activity sessions via virtual means. They are able to hold virtual physical activity sessions (Joe Wicks style) for schools via the screens schools have in your sports halls. Another option is for them to deliver OBOL sessions (or physical health) in the classrooms via the smart boards, they can then work with your school on an individual basis to support the programme.
If you are interested in discussing either of these options further or if you would like to discuss an alternative offer you would be keen to implement around physical activity, please contact:
