Maryam and Jo - Behind Closed Doors – free workshop opportunity for secondary schools
To coincide with the Olympic Torch Relay in Japan, we are going to have an Olympic Torch Relay between Coventry schools.
- 26 March: An original London 1948 Olympic Torch will be lit at a ceremony in the centre of Coventry.
- 26 March – 3 July: Participating schools will take the torch to the next school in the relay, the torch will remain at each school for one day. Participating schools will be given a specially designed map to plot the route of the torch. Schools will be invited to add one or more origami cranes (a symbol of peace) to a chain of cranes that will be displayed at the School Games.
- The torch will end its journey at the School Games (Warwick Uni 2/3 July 2020).
Schools must register to participate by THURSDAY 20 FEBRUARY at the latest. The route will be planned after this date and it won’t be possible to add schools.

Warwick University - Model United Nations
Warwick University is running a Model United Nations on the weekend of 7 and 8 March called WARMUN High School, this is open to Secondary pupils.
Maths Champions research trial – Early Years
National Day Nurseries Association is delighted to invite applications from early years providers to take part in a research trial (funded by the Education Endowment Foundation partnered with Department for Education) to evaluate the Maths Champions programme.
As part of Coventry Cultural Education Partnership, Warwick Arts Centre would like to invite each Cultural Champion and a plus one as our guests to the below:
Friday 6 March 2020 City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra join us to play a programme conducted by Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla, the first female conductor to be signed by Deutsche Gramaphon.
This concert will also include a drinks reception during the interval for all Cultural Champions in the Creative Learning Space.
