Webinar: Enabling digital innovation in social care and social work
Date: Thursday 30 October 2025
Time: 10:00 – 11:00
Our digital social care team will be joined by the Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre (DHI) at their next webinar to introduce plans to develop a pathway that supports digital innovation in social care and social work.
The Digital Health and Care Innovation Centre (DHI) is working with social care and social work partners to develop a Hub supporting digital innovation across the sector. This follows their recent report highlighting the need for better conditions, infrastructure, and pathways for digital innovation in social care. DHI is engaging with care providers to understand their needs and the value a Hub could bring.
The report is available here.
In addition to the webinar, we’re hosting two focus group sessions in November to gather your insights and ideas. Watch this space for information about the focus groups, including how to sign up.
Please sign up for the webinar here.
We look forward to seeing you there!

Digital inequality and inclusion: masterclass for health and social care leaders
Digital Health and Care in partnership with the Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO) are hosting a digital inequality and inclusion masterclass for health and social care leaders in Scotland.
The masterclass is designed for executive teams, directors, associate directors, heads of service and equivalent roles across health and social care organisations (including NHS, local authorities, health and social care partnerships, social work, social care, care and support providers, housing, third, voluntary and independent sectors).
The session will support leadership teams in their responsibility for building digital inclusion considerations into strategies and design for digital services and reform (Audit Scotland, 2024) and in delivering commitments as outlined in the Health and Social Care Service Renewal Framework and Population Health Framework.
Leaders will gain an understanding of the impacts of digital inequality on service access and delivery, and associated impacts on health inequalities and outcomes. The masterclass will introduce leaders to models, tools and resources to support the design and implementation of digital inclusion support locally. Leaders will be equipped with evidence of the projected economic value and benefits of digital inclusion for people and services.
The session will also signpost to wider opportunities for stakeholders across the landscape of health and social care to engage in bespoke context/sector specific workshops (e.g., mental health, social care, primary care etc.) and a dedicated ‘accelerator’ session for nominated representatives from across all health and social care partnerships and NHS boards.
Please join, or nominate a representative from your board, partnership or organisation to join one of the sessions below, via the registration link:
