Ever wondered how much you’ve saved by using the library to borrow books instead of buying them?
We did! So, we’ve added up the prices of all the books borrowed in 2024.
Curious to know how much you’ve saved? Just log in to your library account to find out: Cheshire Libraries Catalogue (remember to check the accounts of any younger family members too!).
When you borrow a book from us, you’re helping to save money and be kinder to the planet. You’re also supporting your favourite authors, who earn a small amount every time their book is borrowed from a public library. What’s not to like?
And, if you read eBooks, listen to eAudiobooks, read magazines or newspapers through our BorrowBox or Libby apps, you’ve saved even more!
Saved a fortune? Let us know on social media @cwaclibraries

Just Add Nature Rebecca Frank
You don't need to live in the countryside or have access to an abundance of green space to make valuable connections with the natural world around you. Often it's the simple pleasures - like eating seasonally, identifying wild flowers, listening to birdsong, being close to water or nurturing a houseplant - that bring the greatest reward. Around the world, doctors have been experimenting with 'prescribing' nature to help patients' wellbeing, and this book does just that.
