Ingredients
|
|
|
200g noodles (you can also use spaghetti)
|
|
|
2 cloves garlic
|
|
|
Chunk of ginger
|
|
|
1 tbsp sesame oil (you can also use vegetable oil)
|
|
|
1 or 2 fresh peppers
|
|
|
1 carrot
|
|
|
1 onion
|
|
|
300g chicken
|
|
|
|
|
|
Total
|
|

|
|
1. Bring a pan of water to the boil and cook the noodles (following the instructions on the packet)
|
|
|
2. Wash, peel and chop the vegetables into small pieces. Peel and finely chop the garlic and ginger.
|
|
|
3. Cut the chicken into small stripes - make sure to thoroughly wash your hands after touching raw meat.
|
|
|
4. Heat the oil in a frying pan over a medium heat. Add the meat and cook for 5-10 minutes until brown then remove from the pan.
|
|
|
5. Add the garlic, ginger and vegetables to the pan and cook for a few minutes.
|
|
|
6. Add the meat and noodles into the pan and mix well.
|
|

Serving Suggestions
|
|
|
· This recipe should make enough for 3-4 adults
|
|
|
· You can add any veg to your stir fry - why not try broccoli, peas or mushrooms
|
|
|
· You don't have to use chicken! You could use the recipe for any meat, fish or tofu. Or leave the meat out altogether and add a little more veg.
|
|
· Try adding a dash of Soy Sauce but make sure you have taken your child's portion out first as it can be very salty.
|
|

 This event is a wonderful opportunity for expectant parents to come together with partner agencies (such as midwifery, health, Cherubs, SMILE etc) to celebrate new beginnings and connect with fellow families in the community. This is also a fantastic chance for parents to learn more about the services and support available for families during pregnancy and beyond.

 Have your Say Day is a Just Drop-In roadshow event where young people can share their views about their service while talking part in fun activities like like gaming, karaoke and bouldering. We're reaching out to young people who may not have visited us before by travelling to different local areas, offering snacks, treats, goody bags for everyone who gets involved.
