Changes to the executive suite at Macclesfield Town Hall
We have made changes to the former executive suite at Macclesfield Town Hall, which has now become a dedicated members’ area. Please refrain from using this area as a corridor to pass from one side of the office to the other.
The changes are as follows:
- The former members’ room is now the deputy leader’s office
- The former chief executive’s office is now the leader of the opposition’s office
- Meeting room ES2 is now a new members’ room.
Room ES1 will remain as a Teams enabled-meeting room available for booking by both staff and members. Consequently, staff will retain access to the members’ area for this purpose.
Please ensure that the members’ area is not used as a corridor and only enter this area when you need to use room ES1.
Additionally, please note that the door entry system is being updated – which will mean that members will no longer be able to use their ID badges to access the general office spaces.
Thank you for your cooperation.
