#Start Up September this month!

The Start Up September campaign, which saw huge success in 2022, is back this September to highlight the range of support available for start up businesses and entrepreneurs and to celebrate start-up success. Throughout this month there will be a host of free events, workshops and resources on offer to help you on your business journey! This programme is provided by Let's Do Business Group.

Highlights include:

Start My Biz: Free Start Up Business Webinars for North Essex businesses on September 19th, 20th, 26th 10am-1pm online. With expert business coaches from Let's Do Business Group, learn everything from refining your business idea to marketing and managing your finances - and prepare to successfully start your business. This free workshop is brought you to you by the team at the North Essex Economic Board, Backing Essex Business, and Let's Do Business Group
Free consultations with business managers from Let's Do Business Group managers for any people interested in having a chat. These cover marketing, accounting, Start Up Loans and business planning, and will be 45 minutes long. Book your free consultation with a business expert in September

Business Support Helpline & BEST

The UK Government Business Support Helpline for England provides free, impartial expert business support for you and your business.

You can also find free advice and signposting to sources of finance through the BEST Growth Hub.

Essex Accelerator Programme

Colbea are offering the Essex Accelerator programme: an eight week programme online from 17th October-12th December 9.30am-12.30pm Open to all businesses registered in Essex but predominantly aimed at early-stage entrepreneurs (under three years old) who seek growth and want to bring in new opportunities.

Blueprint for Business- grow now!

There is also support for established businesses. A ground breaking initiative, Blueprint for Business, has launched in North Essex, offering a comprehensive programme of free business growth resources through in person and virtual workshops, scheduled from September 2023 to March 2024, including access to up to 7 hours of 1:1 virtual business coaching sessions.

Think Differently: Making waves

This Chelmsford based Neurodiversity workplace training enterprise, has been thriving in Chelmsford for 1 year and 6 months. Think Differently provide workplace assessments, Neurodiversity inclusive training, and employee coaching. Choosing Chelmsford was a nod to its vibrant entrepreneurial spirit, remarkable peer support and a desire to serve businesses in their home city.
