Latest updates to Companies House services

Use our online services

It’s taking longer than usual to process paper documents because of coronavirus (COVID-19).

Where possible, use our online services to help us process your information as quickly as possible. 

If your company cannot file accounts on time

Businesses can get a 3 month extension to file accounts with Companies House.

If you think the impact of COVID-19 will cause delays in filing your company accounts, you can apply for an automatic 3 month extension. You must apply before your filing deadline.

The government has announced a package of support available to businesses and employees during the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
